Colombia exceeds 2,800 MW in renewable sources

Colombia is one of the countries in Latin America that is more committed to renewable energy. Colombia is in the right direction to implement more clean energy in the country, and that is that Colombia has already exceeded 2,878 megawatts of installed capacity in projects with solar and wind energy.
Currently in the country 27 large-scale renewable energy projects are being developed, 16 projects with solar energy and 11 with wind energy. These projects will be located throughout the national territory, in departments such as Atlántico, Magdalena, Córdoba, Norte de Santander, Cundinamarca, Meta, Tolima, Caldas and Antioquia.
