Inauguration in Colombia of “Celsia Solar la Paila”

One of the largest solar farms in the country is inaugurated in Colombia, this was carried out thanks to an alliance between Celsia and Colombina, since the idea of this solar farm is to cover the energy need of the candy production plant that exports its products to more than 90 countries.
The solar farm “Celsia Solar la Paila” is located north of the department of Valle del Cauca, in the municipality of Zarzal. This plant has a capacity of 9.9 MW and is made up of about 29 thousand photovoltaic panels.
This affirms that Colombia is betting more and more on renewable energy, especially solar energy. President Iván Duque announced that the Climate Action Law will be enacted and affirmed that by the end of 2022, more than 2,800 MW will be installed.
