The Tallmax M module adopts multi-busbar technology, which can reduce the current flow distance by more than 50% and thus reduce the resistive losses of the internal tapes (or ribbons) by up to 15%. The thinner and narrower busbar design effectively reduces the shading area and thus increases the effective light receiving area. MBB technology can decrease the possibility of power loss, thus increasing energy efficiency. Trina Solar was the first manufacturer to implement MBB mass production in November 2017.
